First off, I don’t care about American Football.
This is going to sound totally nuts, but during tonight’s Superbowl, #CSI started trending in Twitter. I just had to check it out. And the results were..

to die for.

YYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To the delight of a portion of Americans, The Who played at half-time in the Superbowl. To the majority of others, some old geezers were on stage doing covers of CSI themes. America, I am disappointed in you. Your tastes in music, as well as a good portion of your musical exports are nothing above sub-par, so when one of the best bands of all time comes on and plays on TV for 90 million of you, you would think you would actually know who they are. But oh no you didn’t. Couple of tweets and retweets said stuff like “Who are these guys and why are they playing CSI covers?” and “Right now there are a million under-30s wondering why The Who is playing the theme of CSIĀ Miami”.
Ironically, the main network broadcasting the Superbowl, is CBS, who also own the CSI series. Which Roger Daltrey himself also cameoed in in 2006.

If this is the Internet, a place with a reckless disregard for quality music, I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be a part of it any more.
