Here’s some of my highlights from the Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft Press Briefings, at Day 1 of the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010.

.. Because the last week or so outside of here was LOUD!!!

No seriously, with it being Raising and Giving Week in College (RAG Week) – mostly Raising Hell and Giving Cheek I’ll admit, which isn’t the purpose at all – I’ve been too busy being AFK enjoying myself to even think about playing games (and the only one I did play was like one song on Guitar Hero). Perhaps this would have something to do with their as-yet-unnamed Need for Speed game they are due to release this year. Either way, since we have to stop asking them for more Burnout stuff, maybe now’s the time to get more requests in for BLACK 2!

Steam Christmas Sale

Wow. Steam seem to be going all-out on the last minute bargains for gamers wanting to treat each other to some fun this Christmas, as they’ve slashed what’d appear to be a small Brazilian rainforest worth of prices across most of their range. Believe me, if there’s someone you forgot about, and want to give them the gift of a game this year, believe me, now’s the time to do it. But there is a few grinches lurking in the store. More after the jump. (more…)
