Heavy Rain comes to us from Quantic Dream, the same studio that brought us Indigo Prophecy (reviewed here about a month ago), and it is available on PS3 later this month. Here’s what I made of the demo, which went on limited release via a viral website mini-game yesterday morning.

First off, I’ll try to┬ámake the effort as to not spoil anything plot-heavy. Where there are scenes┬áthat I chose to partake in, you may choose not to when you play, and that will, of course, have a different bearing on the story at hand. But any details beyond character names, I’ll omit.

After hearing – and telling you – about the new browser based Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online, I figured, well, I better give it a go as well to see if it’s worth your while to sign up for a trial. And since I already had an EA Sports account from playing FIFA and NHL, I thought I’d put it to good use.

As you may or may not have heard, Ad-Hoc Party came out in Europe on the 22nd of December, just before Christmas. It was out in America a few months before that, and Japan a few before that again. Ad-Hoc Party is a great tool that allows you to play your PSP online using your PS3’s internet connection (as long as it’s using an Ethernet cable and not wi-fi). After about a week of good use (consisting entirely of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite), I think I’m about ready to give my thoughts on the system. (more…)

Today saw the European release of the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Demo (dubbed Trial Ops) and I found myself with an hour on my hands, so I thought I’d give a little bit of a hands-on first impressions of it.
